Kiacosa Installations, 2020

I was the third visiting artist to exhibit at the BPN Architects practice (above). I studied at Birmingham City University so this aligned with BPNs aim to bring in artists/designers with close ties to the Birmingham area.

The sculpture is nestled within one corner of the ground floor meeting room, it is both bold in its colour and scale yet conscious of its relationship to the existing building. As it doesn’t limit usable floor space, and frames rather than obscures the main meeting room window.

Below are renders that represent some of the more ambitious appliactions of Kiacosa. These could one day in the future be realised given more time and resources. Such as a statement sculpture in a residential setting, or alternatively in an artistic and open-air environment.
